<i>f</i>(<i>T</i>) cosmology against the cosmographic method: A new study using mock and observational data

ABSTRACT In this paper, we study the power-law f(T) model using Hubble diagrams of type Ia supernovae (SNIa), quasars (QSOs), gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), and measurements from baryonic acoustic oscillations (BAO) in framework cosmographic method. Using mock data for SNIa, QSOs, GRBs generated based on model, show whether different methods are suitable to reconstruct distance modulus or not. particular, investigate rational PADE polynomials (3,2) (2,2) addition fourth- fifth-order Taylor series. We that is best approximation can be used method at both low high redshifts. context method, well consistent with real observational GRBs. Moreover, find combination diagram SNIa BAO observation leads better consistency between model-independent model. Finally, our constraints parameter effective equation state DE described by phantom-like behaviour, especially when observations included analysis.
